My favourite novels read since Spike was born - Rebel of the sands

I’m a massive reader. I started blogging as a book blogger nearly 10 years ago. I used to read up to 200 books per year. But you may know that as I wrote about that earlier in the month for the goals day.
Now though, I barely read anything other than picture books. So for todays prompt, Novels, I thought I would share my favourite novels read since having Spike.

In Darkling Wood – Emma Carroll

I love Emma Carrolls novels. They are magical and beautiful and In Darkling Wood was one of the first novels I managed to finish after Spike was born. She does such an amazing job of writing her scenes that I could see every page setting as I read it.

Rebel Bully Geek Pariah – Erin Lange

Erin Lange does an amazing job of writing about things that people generally try to ignore. Rebel Bully Geek Pariah is another novel that does this. It tackles difficult subjects in an amusing story and is fast paced and perfect. It sticks a group of people together who are unlike to ever be together and allows you to see the bigger picture with all of them.

Rebel of the Sands – Alwyn Hamilton

I loved this story so much! I’m so glad I picked the second book up last weekend as part of Bookshop Day. Its not my normal ideal novel as it is a love story. But Rebel of the Sands is a clever one containing a strong female character who spoke to me directly. I loved the action and the adventure. I can’t wait to get immersed into the world Hamilton has created again soon!

What have you read lately that you have loved? Let me know if the comments!
